On 9th November 2013, the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (www.cbttherapies.org.uk) is holding a one day Workshop on Assessing Negative Emotions. In this workshop, you will learn a how to assess negative emotions accurately and discovering how our beliefs impact whether they are healthy or unhealthy.
Avy Joseph, Principal of CCBT and author of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Your Route Out of Perfectionism, Self-sabotage and Other Everyday Habits and co-author of Visual CBT, explains more: “Not all negative emotions should automatically be treated therapeutically. Clients present with mixed negative emotions and assessing which should be targeted for therapy and which should be left well alone is the basis of effective clinical assessment and treatment strategy”.

The Workshop will be run by Avy Joseph, who is a practising Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, Director and Co-founder of the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. He is a board member of the Association of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy and is a registered and accredited CBT therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. He runs a private clinic in Central London and has lectured both nationally and internationally. He has developed many workshops and courses that have lead to the development of the CCBT and its courses.
