CCBT is committed to improving the student experience for hypnotherapy training in London, and we are introducing a number of new initiatives over the next few months.

CCBT is the only college that specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy training and all our courses are built around the theory and structure of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. We wanted to build on our knowledge and expertise to provide improved hypnotherapy training for our students.

Avy Joseph, Principal at CCBT, explains more: “At CCBT, we really believe in the benefits of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), and we are helping more people to learn hypnotherapy training in London. And it doesn’t end there. Because we are a specialist college, we want to help our students to go out into the wider world and use this therapy once they complete the course, whether they work for the NHS, or decide to set up their own practise. This is why we are making a number of changes to provide additional support to our students”.

Improving the student experience of Hypnotherapy training in London

• Hands on practise days: We have listened to student feedback and
  made some changes for the hypnotherapy training diploma that starts in
  September. We have added 2 full hands on practise days
  in therapeutic and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy with no additions in
  course fees.
• The Graduate Scheme: We help our newly qualified graduates to get
  set up in providing clinical practise with our new Graduate Training Scheme,
  where we provide students with a clinic space and clinical supervision. Our
  graduates can then offer therapy to the public at a discounted price. This will start in August 2011 and more details will be provided soon
• AREBT: Avy Joseph is now a board member at The Association for
  Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT). The purpose of AREBT is to promote REBT (one of the main schools of cognitive behaviour therapy).

The CCBT courses are accredited, and have most recently become accredited by the Royal College of Nursing. The hypnosis training in London provided by CCBT prepares students for membership of the General Hypnotherapy Register, and as a professional practitioner of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy.
