On 7th December 2013, the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (www.cbttherapies.org.uk) is holding a one day Workshop on The Highly Sensitive Person. This Workshop will explore the challenges, advantages and disadvantages of high sensitivity. It aims to help people manage their high sensitivity and use it to their advantage in their everyday lives.
Joy Baines, Lecturer and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist at CCBT says “15-20% of the population have a nervous system that is more sensitive than the remaining 80-85%, known as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). This workshop will help practitioners enhance their knowledge and skills in high sensitivity”

The Workshop will be run by Joy Baines, who is a Lecturer and Supervisor at CCBT and runs a successful Clinical and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy practice in South East London. She is also a Life Coach, Meridian Therapist and NLP Practitioner. Joy specialises in working with depression, anxiety and high sensitivity in her practice.
