Anxiety based Depression


On 29th March 2014, the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies ( ) is holding a one – day Workshop on Anxiety based Depression. Depression is a mood disorder, comes in many forms. Anxiety based Depression is triggered by having anxiety and stress as a primary problem. This master class focuses on the treatment of Anxiety based Depression using cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy (CBH).

Avy Joseph, Principal of CCBT, author of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Your Route Out of Perfectionism, Self-sabotage and Other Everyday Habits and co author of Visual CBT, explains more: “Often hypnotherapists shy away from treating depression. However, anxiety and depression are often linked and usually present together for treatment. It is difficult to treat anxiety in isolation when depression is present and an obstacle. This master class will help increase confidence in the treatment of Anxiety based Depression”.
