On January 24th 2015 the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (www.cbttherapies.org.uk) is holding a one-day workshop in London on Mindfulness with Anxiety and Depression. With the latest research indicating that 1 in 5 people are suffering from either anxiety or depression or a combination of the two it is important to have the most up to date skills at your disposal when working with these clients.
Beverley Harper, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and senior lecturer at CCBT will lead this experiential workshop which focuses on practical skills to enable you to integrate mindfulness into your work with clients using the model of psychological health developed by the grandfather of CBT, Alert Ellis. You will learn the latest mindfulness approaches together with how and when to integrate them into the psychological model, which underpins all our teaching at CCBT strategies.
