Developing Self-Acceptance with your Client -by Beverley Harper, CCBT Lecturer

Live online on Saturday 12th October, 2024

When: Saturday 12th October 2024

Where: Online CPD workshop

In this thought-provoking and popular workshop, you will reverse your mindset about the entire concept of self-esteem, self-worth and self-acceptance.  Most clients present with low self-esteem problems and therefore this workshop is invaluable to all healthcare professionals. You will learn how to help your clients overcome self damning disturbed beliefs. These arise mainly in emotional problems such as anxiety, depression, anger, hurt, guilt, jealousy, envy and shame and with many specific areas such as relationship problems, anxiety disorders, and performance anxiety from the creative to the sexual. It is one thing to understand that self damning beliefs are unhelpful and provoke emotional suffering and to understand that unconditional self-acceptance is the solution but how do you help clients believe it, so they feel it

Beverley Harper explains more: “Self damning problems are common and in many cases are at the heart of the problem. This workshop will help the practitioner learn powerful tools and arguments to help their clients to unconditionally accept themselves and heal their disturbed ego i.e., to be OK in their own skin”
